Mishavonna Henson to Kick Off Independence Day Celebration

As part of its Independence Day Extravaganza Friday, July 3rd, the Lancaster JetHawks will welcome American Idol qualifier Mishavonna Henson to perform in a pregame concert with classic rock band Riff Raff. The concert will begin when the gates open at 5 PM. Henson will also perform God Bless America in the 7th inning.

Lawn Seating and Standing Room Only Tickets for July 3 Now Available

With only a few individual game tickets left open in the seating bowl for the Lancaster JetHawks Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks Show this Friday, July 3, the JetHawks are now selling seats on the lawn and standing room only tickets. There are only 700 of those available and they cost just $5. Those tickets are expected to be sold out before Friday, so the JetHawks recommend that all fans who wish to come to the game purchase their tickets before the day of the game.

(LANCASTER, CA) – The Lake Elsinore Storm jumped on JetHawks’ spot starter Philip Rummel for two runs in the first inning and never looked back in a routine 8-3 win in the opening game of a three-game series between the two clubs. The JetHawks have now lost four in a row after being swept in Stockton to begin the week.

Jason Castro and Chia-Jen Lo Selected for Futures Game

The Lancaster JetHawks will once again be well-represented during the Major League Baseball All-Star Weekend. Two former JetHawks players were chosen to play in the Futures Game, the annual showcase featuring players thought to be soon-to-be Major League stars. Jason Castro and Chia-Jen Lo, who both starred in Lancaster this season before earning promotions to Double-A Corpus Christi were both selected for the honor with Castro picked for the United States team and Lo chosen for the World roster.

Gaston Named California/Carolina League All Star Game MVP

(LAKE ELSINORE, CA) – On one pitch in the tenth inning on Tuesday night, Jon Gaston turned a frustrating night into one of the most memorable of his career. The JetHawks leftfielder, who had stuck out in his first three at-bats in the California/Carolina League All Star Game, rocketed a first-pitch fastball off the batters’ eye in center field to lift the California League All Stars to a 2-1 win over their Carolina League counterparts.
